The Proposed New Brazoria
County Livestock & Expo Center
(update 8-21-2008)

The Master Plan for the Brazoria County Livestock & Expo Center was
officially unveiled today. Commissioners' Court should vote to set
the bond election for November 4th at their meeting this next
Tuesday.
The
entire 141 acre campus, when completed, will make the Brazoria
County Livestock & Expo Center the premier events center in the
State of Texas. The economic impact will be unbelievable. Over 5
million people live within a 60 mile radius of Angleton; now our
friends to the north will be coming to Brazoria County.
The
plans are final. Now it is up to the voters.
A
website will be up on August 26th, and it will detail every
building, costs, tax estimates and more. I'll post the website
address on this website Tuesday evening.
Our
committee members will be speaking to every group or organization
that will give us audience. There is a lot of work to be done - and
you can do your part by supporting this proposal. "Git 'Er Done"!!!
